Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: 30 September 2026 · TECHSHAN (TECHSHAN-IMS)

Last Updated: September 30, 2026

This Policy sets out what may and may not be done with TECHSHAN-IMS, including what may be sold or published through a storefront or the marketplace. It forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every Customer, Authorized User, supplier-portal user and shopper.

1. Unlawful and Harmful Activity

  • Anything unlawful where you operate or where your customers are, including fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, and the sale of goods or services you are not licensed to sell.
  • Infringing another person's copyright, trademark, design, patent or other rights, including selling counterfeit goods or unlicensed copies of books, software, music or video.
  • Selling or advertising items whose sale is prohibited or restricted without the required licence: weapons and ammunition, explosives, controlled drugs and paraphernalia, prescription medicines, tobacco and alcohol to minors, stolen goods, human remains, endangered species, and recalled or unsafe products.
  • Content that sexually exploits children, promotes terrorism or violent extremism, incites violence or hatred against people for who they are, or harasses, threatens or defames anyone.
  • Publishing another person's personal information without a lawful basis, or recording special-category data in fields not designed for it.

2. Security and Integrity

  • Attempting to access another Customer's workspace, or to defeat tenant isolation, role permissions, authentication, rate limits or the append-only audit log.
  • Uploading malware or content designed to damage, overload or disrupt the Service or other users.
  • Security testing, vulnerability scanning, load testing or automated scraping without our prior written consent. To report a vulnerability, write to [email protected]; we welcome good-faith reports.
  • Sharing accounts, reselling access, or using the Service to build a competing product.

3. Messaging

  • Sending marketing email, SMS or WhatsApp messages to people who have not agreed to receive them where the law requires consent, or who have unsubscribed.
  • Hiding or falsifying who a message is from, or omitting the unsubscribe link and postal address the Service adds to marketing email.

4. Records

  • Falsifying accounting, stock, tax, payroll or attendance records, or using the Service to conceal such falsification.

5. Reporting and Enforcement

Anyone can report content or activity that breaks this Policy at /report-content, without an account. We review every report.

Depending on how serious the breach is, we may remove or hide content, disable a storefront, suspend accounts, report illegal activity to the authorities, or end the agreement. We tell the Customer what we did and why unless the law or an investigation prevents it, and the Customer can ask us to reconsider.
