Copyright & Content Policy
Effective Date: 30 September 2026 · TECHSHAN (TECHSHAN-IMS)
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
Businesses on TECHSHAN-IMS publish product images, descriptions, e-books and other content through their storefronts and the marketplace. This Policy explains how rights holders and others can report content they believe infringes their rights or is unlawful, and what happens next. It is designed to meet notice-and-takedown laws including the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) and the EU Digital Services Act.
1. How to Report
Use the form at /report-content, or write to our designated agent (details below). A copyright notice must include:
- The copyrighted work, or trademark, you say is infringed.
- The exact address (URL) of the material on the Service.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough on the form).
2. What Happens Next
We acknowledge every report by email with a reference number. Where a notice is complete and the report is credible, we remove or disable public access to the material promptly. It stays in the business's workspace, marked as taken down, and cannot be republished while the takedown stands.
We tell the business what was removed and why, and we tell the reporter what we did. Incomplete or clearly unfounded notices are rejected with an explanation. Every step is recorded so that the history of a case can be shown later.
3. Counter-Notice
If you are the business and believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, reply to our takedown email with a counter-notice: your name, address and telephone number; the material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you are (or, outside the United States, any court where we may be found); and your signature.
We forward the counter-notice to the reporter. Unless the reporter tells us within 10 business days that they have started legal proceedings to restrain the activity, we may restore the material.
4. Other Unlawful Content
The same form handles trademark and counterfeit reports, illegal goods, abuse and privacy complaints. You do not need to make sworn statements for those, but please explain clearly why the content is unlawful or breaks the Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Repeat Infringers and Misuse
We suspend the storefronts of businesses that repeatedly infringe. Knowingly misrepresenting that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, may make you liable for damages.
6. Designated Agent
Notices may be sent to our designated copyright agent, whose current contact details are shown on this page. The agent handles copyright notices only; for other questions write to [email protected].
